C'est par une tournée de cinq semaines en Ecosse que les projets Clichés Ecossés et Lost in Scotland vient tout juste de se terminer. Et il aura été surprenant pour nous de voir que beaucoup des spectateurs ont découvert le projet pour la première fois alors que nous donnions les dernières représentations. L'histoire des clichés est enfin revenue aux oreilles des Ecossais. En une année elle a beaucoup changée. Elle a été formée et sculptée par les mains des comédiens de Theatraverse. Elle s'est forgée en français, en anglais, même en finnois. Et puis nous l'avons rapportée là où elle avait trouvé ses inspirations. Sans le vouloir, la tournée 2010 a emprunté les chemins inverses de ceux que Théo et moi avions parcourus l'année dernière, bouclant ainsi l'aventure au fur et à mesure des étapes.
The projects Clichés Ecossés and Lost in Scotland have just ended with a five-week Tour throughout Scotland. It has been a surprise for us to notice that most of the audience was actually discovering the project for the first time whereas they were attending the last performances. The Scottish story has finally reached Scottish ears.
It has changed a lot in a year time. It has first been build by the Theatraverse comedians and has been implemented in French, English and even Finnish. Then, we brought the story to where its inspirations come from. The 2010 Tour took by accident the way back to what Theo and I have started with, coming step by step full circle.
Grâce à Théo qui nous a rejoint pour la fin de la tournée, et qui a dégainé son appareil photo avant même d'être arrivée, vous pouvez maintenant vous faire une idée de l'exposition présentée à l'Institut Français d'Edimbourg.
Thanks to Theo who joined us at the end of the Tour and her inseparable camera, you can now have a better idea of the exhibition presented to the French Institute in Edinburgh.
Ce sont les seules photos du projet que nous vous avons rapporté. Les autres images ont été prises entre deux représentations, entre deux villes. Et cela pour une raison très simple, parce que nous ne pouvions pas accueillir les spectateurs, vendre les livres, répéter le spectacle,... et se prendre en photo en même temps! Il y a aussi des histoires qui n'existent que pour ceux qui les ont vécues.
Pour les autres, je vous propose un kaléidoscope des anecdotes de nos différentes aventures en Ecosse. Un petit tour en coulisses...
These are the only pictures of the project we have. The others were taken between two performances or two cities. Indeed, it was physically not possible to welcome spectators, sale the books, practise the show… while taking pictures of us ! Moreover, some stories exist only for those who lived them.
